Dr. Jayamol P.S is the IQAC Coordinator of the institution. She steers the Research and Publication Committee, which is responsible for the publication of the VBCL Law Review and the Annual International Journal of VBCL (AIJVBCL Online), the flagship peer-reviewed and indexed journals of the institution. She also works as the Assistant Editor of these journals. She completed her B.A., LL.B., from SDM Law College, Mangalore and her LL.M from the Department of Law, University of Kerala, Thiruvananthapuram securing third rank and qualified the UGC-NET in the year 2010. She obtained her Ph.D from Karnataka State Law University, Hubballi, for her empirical study titled ‘An Evaluation of the Enforcement Mechanism under the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006 in Ensuring Safe and Wholesome Food.’ She has presented papers at national and international seminars and has published research articles in reputed Indian and foreign journals. She is the co-editor of two books. At the University level she has served as an External Senior Supervisor. Her teaching areas include Jurisprudence, Legal Methods, Environmental Law, Family Law II, Contract I, Labour Law I & II and Constitutional Law. She is also the Faculty Coordinator of the College Development Committee and the Internal Complaints Committee.
