Dr. Preethi Harish Raj also serves as the Student Welfare Officer, HOD of Law, Student Convenor, and Cultural Co-ordinator. An alumna of our College, she obtained her LL.M. in International Law from the Department of Studies and Research in Law, University of Mysore. She earned her Ph.D. from the P.G. Department of Studies in Law, Karnatak University, Dharwad, for her research on “Revocation of Special Status and its Impact on Enforcement of Fundamental Rights in the State of Jammu and Kashmir: A Critical Study.” She has also qualified the UGC-NET (Ph.D. only). Her teaching areas include Constitutional Law, Company Law, Interpretation of Statutes, and Civil Procedure Code. Dr. Preethi is actively involved in institutional activities as Secretary of the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA), Secretary of the VBCL Alumni Association, Associate Editor for both the VBCL Law Review and the Annual International Law Journal of Vaikunta Baliga College of Law, and faculty co-ordinator of the Cultural Committee. She plays a key role in fostering student engagement and promoting institutional excellence.
